Upon arriving at Antico Monastero in Bitonto, we were immediately greeted by the charming host Anna, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. the historic property, though a bit of a climb up steep stairs, exuded a delightful blend of ancient charm and modern comfort, offering spacious and cozy rooms. The attention to detail in the housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring a clean and comfortable stay throughout. Our room, a quadruple with air conditioning, provided a welcome respite from the Italian heat, while the private entrance added a touch of exclusivity to our experience. In the mornings, we indulged in a traditional Italian breakfast at a nearby café, savoring sweet pastries and invigorating coffee - a perfect start to our days of exploration in Bitonto. the convenience of a paid shuttle service to the Bari Karol Wojtyla Airport, just 9 km away, made our travels seamless and stress-free. the proximity to Teatro Margherita and Bari Cathedral, just 18 km away, made it easy for us to immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of Apulia.
